Your GHOST with the Most

Choosing a Halloween costume can be a real challenge. You want it to stand out but not be overly popular, and you want it to strike the right balance between fun and affordable. It should look like a costume but also fit well. With so many options out there, it can feel overwhelming. This year, when it came time to make my decision, I drew inspiration from Pittsburgh’s roots.

If there’s one thing Pittsburgh loves, it’s Pittsburgh itself. The city takes pride in its local heroes, and one name that stands out is Michael Keaton. Born in Coraopolis, PA, Keaton is an award-winning actor with a career spanning decades. From Batman to Birdman, he’s given us iconic performances. But when it comes to Halloween, one role shines above the rest: Beetlejuice, the “Ghost with the Most.”

So, for our Halloween Game with the Pittsburgh Penguins, I donned the black-and-white striped suit, wild green hair, and ghoulish face paint to bring Beetlejuice to life. The energy at the arena was electric, with fans embracing the spooky spirit. The Ice Breakers dressed as zombies, while the Ice Crew transformed into Minions.

We also hosted a costume contest, with winners receiving gift baskets from Milkshake Factory. Honestly, every fan deserved a prize for their creativity and enthusiasm. The night was a celebration of hockey, Halloween, and the unique community spirit that makes Penguins games unforgettable.

From one Beetlejuice to all of you, thank you for making Halloween Night one to remember. Can’t wait to see what costumes you bring to the arena next year!
