Reflecting on My First Season with the Penguins

As my first season in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on an incredible journey. I want to take a moment to say thank you to the Penguins staff, front office, and, most importantly, the amazing fans who made the 2023-2024 season unforgettable.

Moving to Pittsburgh, leaving home, and stepping into the next chapter of my young adult life was both exciting and daunting. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from Western PA, but from the moment I arrived, you welcomed me with open arms. Penguins fans, you are truly one of a kind. You cheer, you clap, you dance—and you live and breathe Penguins hockey. No matter the score, no matter the outcome, you show up with unmatched energy and passion, creating a party on 5th Avenue every game night. That electric atmosphere is something I’ll never take for granted.

A special thank you goes to the incredible Game Operations crew who welcomed me into their tight-knit family. This group of talented individuals has been in the business for years, mastering the art of creating unforgettable moments that resonate with Pittsburghers. To work alongside them and witness their dedication firsthand has been a privilege. They know exactly what makes this city tick, and I’m grateful to be part of something so special.

As we look ahead to the 2024-2025 season, I can promise you this—you won’t believe what we have in store for you. From the ice to the stands, it’s going to be a season full of excitement and surprises. But for now, enjoy your summer, Penguins fans. Rest up, recharge, and get ready to bring the noise next season.
