Cerveza y Beisbol con los Congueros de Syracuse

This week with the Syracuse Mets, I was fortunate enough to host our Copa La Diverson night as the Syracuse Mets became the Congueros de Syracuse.

Baseball is nothing without the Latin culture that is deeply woven into the cloth of the sport. The MiLB Copa La Diverson initiative has made it to Syracuse, NY as for three nights throughout the season the Syracuse Mets take on a different persona Congueros de Syracuse. Paying homage to Caribbean culture in Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic

Along with a Cinco de Mayo celebration involving Mexican and Latin music through the night, we were able to celebrate the culture of many Latin players on the Syracuse Mets.

Also, a huge thank you to Syracuse Mets General Manager Jason Smorol, who lent me his sombrero for the evening.
